I grew up in between two realms - the East and the West - raised on Miyazaki and Tolkien. I was just an ordinary little girl with a cookie-cutter life. Stories were an escape when the real world felt heavy or full of things I couldn't change. But inside those pages and on those screens, I lived a thousand lives. I watched people face impossible odds and win. I learned that magic and courage was possible.

I spent my teenage years at Renaissance Faires and my college years cosplaying, chasing that feeling. Doing my best to bring these feelings of wonder and adventure to life, to taste what it felt like to be extraordinary.
